Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, activating, or using QuickDrop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use QuickDrop.
Product Description
QuickDrop is a macOS application providing quick, contextual file actions — such as compressing, converting, copying paths, and similar file-handling tools — triggered by dragging a file to a small on-screen area. QuickDrop is sold and distributed as downloadable software for macOS.
Seller
QuickDrop is a macOS software product developed and provided under the QuickDrop name. References to "we," "us," or "our" in these Terms refer to the developer and provider of QuickDrop.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to purchase and use QuickDrop, and must meet any minimum age requirement under applicable law and under Lemon Squeezy's own terms.
License Grant
Subject to these Terms and payment of the applicable fee, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to install and use QuickDrop for your own use, on the number of Macs permitted by your license (see "One-Device Activation Model"). This license does not transfer ownership of QuickDrop to you.
One-Device Activation Model
Each QuickDrop license may be active on one (1) Mac at a time. To move your license to a different Mac, deactivate it on the current Mac first, then activate it on the new one. Attempting to circumvent this activation limit is prohibited.
Restrictions
You may not: resell, sublicense, rent, or share your license key with others; attempt to circumvent, disable, or bypass license activation or validation; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble QuickDrop except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law; or use QuickDrop for any unlawful purpose.
Ownership / Intellectual Property
QuickDrop, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by its developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Purchasing a license does not grant you any ownership interest in QuickDrop itself — only the usage rights described in these Terms.
User Files
You retain full ownership of your own files and content. QuickDrop does not claim any ownership over files you process using the application. File actions run only at your request, and you are responsible for maintaining your own backups before running any action that modifies, moves, or deletes a file. QuickDrop cannot guarantee compatibility with every file format, application, or third-party service.
One-Time Purchase
QuickDrop is sold as a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew or charge automatically.
Payments
The current price is shown on our website at the time of purchase. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy.
Lemon Squeezy / Merchant of Record
Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record for all QuickDrop purchases: it is the seller of record responsible for payment processing, applicable sales tax/VAT collection and remittance, and the checkout/receipt process, rather than us directly. Lemon Squeezy's own terms of service and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction.
License Keys
A license key is issued after a successful purchase, typically delivered by Lemon Squeezy in your purchase receipt. Your license key is personal to you; sharing, reselling, publishing, or transferring it, or attempting to activate it beyond the permitted activation limit, is prohibited. We reserve the right to deactivate or revoke a license key associated with a refunded, charged-back, or fraudulent purchase, or with a confirmed violation of these Terms.
Updates
Your purchase includes updates for the current major version of QuickDrop at no additional charge. A future major version, if released, may be offered as a separate paid upgrade; any change to this policy will be reflected in an updated version of these Terms.
Third-Party Services
Some QuickDrop functionality depends on third-party services we do not control, including Lemon Squeezy, Apple/macOS, and — only for actions you choose to use — Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo Mail. These services may change, become unavailable, or be modified independently of QuickDrop, and we are not responsible for their availability or behavior.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own files, for using QuickDrop in compliance with applicable law, for keeping your license key confidential, and for ensuring your Mac meets QuickDrop's system requirements.
Availability
We aim to keep QuickDrop and this website functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, particularly where availability depends on third-party services such as Lemon Squeezy, update-hosting infrastructure, or Apple/macOS.
Warranty Disclaimer
QuickDrop is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use QuickDrop. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under mandatory consumer-protection law.
Termination / License Revocation
We may suspend, deactivate, or terminate a license in cases of confirmed fraud, chargeback, refund, or material violation of these Terms. You may stop using QuickDrop and uninstall it at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.
Refunds
Refunds for QuickDrop purchases are handled as described in our separate Refund Policy. A refunded or reversed purchase may result in deactivation or revocation of the associated license key.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of QuickDrop after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law / Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence may also apply and are not excluded by this section.
