This Privacy Policy explains what information QuickDrop's website and application handle, and what they deliberately do not.
Information QuickDrop Collects
This website and QuickDrop's purchase process may involve: ordinary web request/technical data collected by our hosting infrastructure when you visit quickdrop.es; checkout, billing, and order information collected by Lemon Squeezy when you make a purchase (see "Payments" below); and anything you choose to include when you email support.
Information QuickDrop Does Not Collect
QuickDrop does not require you to create an account and does not maintain its own customer profile system. We do not sell personal data. We do not intentionally include advertising SDKs, and we do not intentionally include analytics, telemetry, or tracking technologies in the website or the application. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first — see "Changes to This Policy."
Website Technical Data
Like most websites, quickdrop.es runs on hosting infrastructure that may process ordinary technical request data — for example IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps — in server logs, solely to operate and secure the site. We do not use this data to build profiles of individual visitors.
Payments
All payments for QuickDrop are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. QuickDrop and this website do not directly store your payment card details. Lemon Squeezy collects the customer information it needs to process your order, calculate applicable tax, issue a receipt, prevent fraud, and fulfill the purchase — under its own privacy policy.
Licensing
QuickDrop may use Lemon Squeezy's licensing service to generate, activate, and validate your license key. The application identifies your Mac using a locally generated installation identifier — never your device's hardware serial number, MAC address, or Apple ID.
Local Application Data
QuickDrop's preferences and settings are stored locally on your Mac. Where applicable, license-related state (such as your license key and activation identifier) is stored locally in the macOS Keychain, which is protected by macOS itself. This locally stored information is not routinely transmitted to us.
User-Selected Files
QuickDrop accesses a file only when you select it or drag it onto QuickDrop, and only to perform the action you request — for example compressing, converting, copying, or moving it. QuickDrop does not silently or automatically upload your files anywhere, and does not scan your file system in the background.
Email and Webmail Actions
Some QuickDrop actions can open a compose window in your default mail app, or open Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo Mail in your default web browser with a new message pre-filled. These actions do not give QuickDrop access to your email password, your mailbox contents, or your browser's cookies or saved logins — QuickDrop only opens the relevant app or web address.
Software Updates
QuickDrop's update mechanism may contact quickdrop.es, or associated update-hosting infrastructure, to check for and download new versions. This connection is limited to what's needed to check for and retrieve an update.
Third-Party Services
QuickDrop and this website rely on a small number of third parties to function: Lemon Squeezy for payments, licensing, and receipts; Apple/macOS for operating-system services; and, only if you choose to use those actions, Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo Mail through your browser. Each processes data under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
Data Retention
Lemon Squeezy retains order and customer information according to its own practices, including as needed for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations. Ordinary web server logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the site. We do not maintain a separate, long-term customer database beyond what Lemon Squeezy retains on our behalf as Merchant of Record.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS, and payment/licensing data is handled under Lemon Squeezy's own security measures. Locally, macOS Keychain provides hardware- and OS-level protection for license-related data stored on your Mac. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Processing
Lemon Squeezy and our hosting infrastructure may process and store data in countries other than your own. By using QuickDrop or this website, you understand your information may be processed internationally, subject to the safeguards required by applicable law.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. For information collected directly during checkout, Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy and support channels apply, since Lemon Squeezy acts as Merchant of Record for that information. Children's Privacy
QuickDrop and this website are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
